It's not someone skipping rope - that's for sure! So what is it? and why is it such an important service to master and only a few can do well?

Skip tracing is an industry term used to describe the process of locating a fugitive that can't be found at their place of residence or usual hangouts. “Skip” refers to the person being searched for (derived from the term “to skip town”) and “tracing” meaning the act of locating the skip.
Years ago I owned a Collections Agency where I trained collectors the art of Skip Tracing. Over my 10 years in the industry - I had taught 40+ people how to find the most difficult Debtors that had skipped (and not want to be found).
This training involved how to get people's non pub phone numbers and their whereabouts! If I may say so myself, I verily believed that I was one of the best at this in North America and perhaps Amex thought so to - cause they loved me working their larger accounts.
On the side, I used my talents to help adoptees find their birth parents and was knocking off 1.5 findings per day. This was very gratifying for me as these challenges were quite different than finding people who owed our clients money.
The Witness Protection Program
One day I had the police at my door questioning how I found a person. When I asked why? They stated that the person was in the witness protection program and had changed their full name. They wanted to know who I was, who hired me and how I found this person. That's the day I realized how good I had become.
How Does This Help - Being A Domain Broker?
If it became easy for me to find people that never wanted to be found. That being Debtors, Parents that gave their child up for adoption & people in the Witness Protection Program. How easy is it for me to find contact information on Domain Owners, & Potential End Users?
My Skip Tracing Knowledge is one asset that separates me from other #DomainBrokers.

Hard to explain... But I have this never give up drive. I have this inter challenge that I have to satisfy. I now can find anyone in any country. Yes, I am a rare breed. I love Horses, Golf & Finding People. But most of all - I love to challenge myself!
